Soldier is a 8 year old gelding that has been there, done that and would suit the whole family! Stands 15 hands tall! He’s been used as a trail horse most of his life in Texas. This horse has hunted coyotes for one full season with hounds and is happy to sit on the hilltop to watch the chase below or gallop along in the thick of the action! Soldier has been used in hound trials with 100+ horses and hounds! He has been hauled to local fun shows as well. This is one safe and gentle gelding! He has a nice ranch walk to him that will cover the miles! Soldier will lope right off and take both of his leads. He crosses water and all the obstacles you put him up against! Soldier is a horse that most people need and can enjoy out on the trails! Ride him once a week or once a month and he will ride off the same every time. We have shot guns off of his back as well. Soldiers rides great with a pack of horses or by himself! He is an excellent stall horse and does well in the pasture with other horses. Soldier doesn’t require any maintenance and is 100% sound! He is an easy keeper and will load himself on the trailer. No buck or any silly business!
