Pistol is a 13.1hh, 7 yr old, Blue Roan Walkaloosa Gelding. Pistol has been ridden by a larger kids and is a great horse for those kids or small adults who don’t want to ride a small pony but don’t want a big horse either! Pistol has been camping in several states, ridden him on both the Knott County and Booneville trail rides here in Kentucky with hundreds of other riders. Pistol is easy to clip, bath, tack-up, load, and handle. Pistol has been ridden by our 9 year girl and 4 year old boy. He is not a lazy confidence builder but isn’t a hot horse either. He is a horse that will ride at any speed that you ask, he will flatfoot walk slowly on a loose rein or he will move on out when asked. He has a natural 4-beat gait that anyone will love the feel of! Pistol has lots of experience and has been camping in multiple states and been ridden in many national forest. On the trails he is always great! Pistol has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He is safe around any kind of traffic from motorcycles to semi trucks.
