Hagrid is the unicorn every English/western program wants and needs. He is 9 years old and stands a stout 13 hands. He has no feet issues and has never been foundered. Hagrid was purchased (from a university program) with some other ponies here in hopes to build my lesson program back up but I want to stay geared towards my barrel racing career .Hagrid is the EPITOME of what a lesson pony should be. He will WALK-TROT-CANTER and allow the kids to learn. No buck, balk, rear or run off. He is a kick-type ride and doesn’t even mind a heavy handed kid, he will tolerate any rider. He will stand to be groomed and the kids can do the handling, grooming, tacking, loading and riding. Not only is he a pony you can enjoy in the arena, the kids can take him out on trails as well. He is traffic Safe, crosses water, will travel at the rear or front of the group. He is an easy keeper, pastures well, simple to catch and is not a bully in the field. Hagrid is seriously one of a kind with the looks to go with his gentle disposition. We can handle a green rider all the way to adults. He is enjoyable for everyone and the perfect size that everyone can ride.
