Joker is a super stout built 14.3hh, 7 year old, Buckskin Gelding. Joker is a well traveled and very versitile horse! I have hauled him to team sorting events, used him for roping lessons, took him out on jobs catching wild cattle with him… you name it and Joker can do it! He has been trail ridden in several states, all the way out west to the coast and I’v used him at the stockyards to pen cattle on a few occasions. He will cross creeks, ditchs, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. Joker has been used to sort and doctor cattle. He has is “cowy” and knows his way around them. He is safe riding in traffic safe. He has a smooth jog, a nice lope, will slide stop, turns a circle both ways, sidepasses and backs with ease! Joker is a confident horse on the trails and will lead the crew, head out alone or follow behind with no issues! He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. Joker is one that I have used as one of my working (personal) horses and he has became my best buddy, it doesn’t matter how long you leave him stand, there is no buck or meanness to him. Joker is not cinchy, cold backed, does not crib or weave. If youre looking for a REAL ranch horse that is ready to go do your job for you… no tricks here, Joker is the real deal!
