Commander is a gorgeous 15.2hh Chocolate and White 8 year old registered SSH gelding. Commander came from an older lady in TN who had hauled Commander all over the US trail riding and camping with Commander for the past 8 years. She has rode him in the some of the roughest country imaginable as well as sunset rides on the beach of course. You name it this guy has done it. Commander is a very in your pocket horse and will follow you around like a dog. Easy to catch, handles the best and loves to be petted on. Commander is great for the farrier, easy to clip and bathe as well. Stands still to be saddled, bridled and mounted. Commander would be a great horse for any level of rider. He will dog walk along all day if you let him. But he will move on out and gait or lope as well. He is very good gaited and very natural. He also has a great canter. He can lope circles and pick his leads up. Commander will neck rein around the best, rides off your legs, has a great woa and a good reverse. Commander is virtually spook free. Point him and he will go. Ride him down the busiest street in town or drop off over a rock bluff and know you are in safe hands. Commander crosses all types of water, slippery rocks and fallen trees. He is traffic safe and great around farm equipment. He has also spent many days checking cows and other livestock so he is definitely livestock safe as well as wildlife.
