Lulu is a stocky built 1450lb Draftcross mare standing around 16hh, she is 9 yr old and has some very nice markings. Lulu is trained to lay down for mounting from the ground or she will lay down for you to dismount from the saddle, which is a great tool to have for anyone who has knee or hip issues or if you are handicapped. In addition to laying down she will bow and set like a dog and play kick the can. Lulu has been taught all about leg pressure and will ride without a bridle. Lulu will ride with a rein around her neck or just totally by useing your feet. Lulu will back, spin, turn, sidepass both ways, lope and slide stop all by using leg cues. Lulu has been camping, we have used her around cows, trail ridden her hundreds of miles and hooked her up and drove her under harness. We have ponied other horses off of her and used her to break colts to lead. Lulu has been ridden around farm equipment, ATV’s, over large noisy tarps and has also had guns shot off of his back. No matter where she goes or what she does, Lulu is not spooky acting. She has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that she is asked too. Lulu has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. Lulu will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. Lulu has been rode in traffic, and is very traffic safe around cars, semi, log, and dump trucks. Lulu in one of the friendliest horses that you will find, in fact she will follow you around and even go for a job with you. Lulu has a great attitude about whatever she is asked to do.
